Muffler recommendations

My story continues. I sprang for the Woods TW-222 cams, lifters, SE tapered pushrods, new cam chains, new tensioners, and two new cam bearings. They should be in the mail. I saw a tune using these cams with Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe with Bub7 exhaust, Stage 1 air cleaner, Dynojet Power Vision giving 94.54 HP and 105.87 torque. Sounds good, but then I read that the Bub 7 exhaust are realy loud, and I don't want that. Any suggestions with the above but with quieter mufflers. How do the Screamin Eagle mufflers compare performance wise and sound wise?

Why not use the 4" Jackpots with standard baffles? They're fairly quiet until you really get on it.

Supertrapp or Fuel Moto's E series. Both are tuneable by adding/subtracting disks. I run a Supertrapp 2 into 1 with 21 disks and closed end cap. It's nice and mellow at cruise, but barks pretty good if I hammer it. Every now and then I'll switch things up and run 15 disks with the open end cap. It's still tolerable at cruise, but really barks when I get hard on the throttle.

I've run a ton of different exhausts over the years but always ended up going back to a Supertrapp.

I have and like Rineharts. The other brand I would use is Jackpot (Fuel Moto). The Jackpot 4" dynotuned muffler is hard to beat.

I found both have good sound. Neither are excessively loud.

Good luck.

Screamin Eagle mufflers with Fullsac power cores installed! Choose from 1 7/8 " to 2 1/2 " depending on the sound you want. Be sure to get the screens with them. They work GREAT! If you dont want very loud I would recommend the 2". They tune well on the dyno also!

Check out The MGS Slip Ons. You will gain about 7+ lbs of torque. They have a nice deep rumble as they are made of 16 gauge steel. And they are on sale right now for only $249!

Jackpot dyno tuned mufflers sound really good without being loud and they are some of the best "performance" mufflers on the market when combined with their 2/1/2 headers.

Klockwerks super saver slip-ons are nice and quiet at idle and cruising....with a nice bark when you get on the throttle. They are on sale on the Klockwerks website for a $100 off a set right now till Dec. 31
