Locked the new Glide Special up last night, turned the wheel and the ignition switch, put the key in and locked it. No issues.

Came out today to unlock it and the switch wont turn out of the fork lock position. It unlocks fine but I cant turn the switch and the forks are locked in position.

How do i get it to the dealer to even have it fixed, under warrenty i hope, if the wheel wont straighten.

Any advice??????

 

I haven't done it in a while, in storage, but I think i have to push down on the lock to unlock it after you unlock it with the key.

 

Depending on how you bike is parked, there could be slight pressure on your wheel, sort of putting torque on your steering. So grab a handlebar and while turning the unlocked switch move your bars to take pressure off the switch (could be either direction) and it will likely turn right on.

 

That's either a very long ignition switch.... or a very short Road Glide...
