Harley Fuel Tank Emblems / Logos Dimensions
 

I am rebuilding my 2008 Ultra into a custom bagger. The base paint color will be Voodoo Candy Purple Flake. This color was available on either 2013 or 2014 Sportster. I want to use the original tank emblems. Since they are silk screened on the local HD dealer can’t tell me the dimensions on it. I purchased a set of decals that are 2” X 4” but I think they will be too small for my stretched bagger tank. Does anyone have a Sportster in purple that can measure the Harley logo on the tank for me and send me the dimensions at thekitkos@gmail.com?

can't help you with that but did you try asking on the sportster forum?

also if you like the logo you have or have a good photo of what you really want, a sign shop can reproduce it any size you want in vinyl. Most people clear over the logo too.

It would help both in here and the Sporty section if you can find and post a photo of the tank logo you have in mind. There are so many.....
