Default Not in love with my V&H Monster Ovals

I currently run V&H Monster Ovals on my 2010 RK along with the V&H dual headers. I have a Stage II kit with .255 cams, a SE Heavy breather and a tuner. As for far as performance, they are good and the quality of course is up to V&H high standards, but I just don't seem to get a good deep Harley rumble for sound. They have a bit of a "tinny" sound if that makes any sense. I'd like to stick with V&H but not sure what will give me that low deep rumble that I was expecting.. I have about 6k on these pipes and they've been well maintained. Any suggestions of a slip on that I could replace these with to help me achieve more of the sound that I'm looking for?

Thanks guys
Ride safe

Check out Rineharts, or even CFRs.

Monster ovals are made to be quiet. I don't care for the look or sound either. If you want better sound and want to stay with V@H i would look at their high output slip ons.

personally i think they are one of the weakest sounding exhaust out. i would just run stock before i paid for those lol i agree with above..... CFR is best sounding but there will be some power loss and the long wait time sucks.

I think they were relatively new on the market when I bought them.... Didn't suspect they would have been as mild as they actually are.... Kicking myself now. Still a very good product, just a little too quiet...thx

How are they when you rip the throttle any better or still weak?

Meh..... They definitely get a bit more bark but I wouldn't say they are loud whatsoever.

I really like the RC Components 4" Rivals or they have several choices to choose from but the sound is amazing, low deep rumble and crack when you get on them. I had the monster rounds and rode from the dealer to my house and took them off and traded them for the RC's, this was on my 2010 SG. So when I picked up my 2014 there was no other choice for me other than the RC's.

For me there is no choice but the CFR's if sticking with duel exhaust. For what I lose in power the sound more than makes up for. Lowest, deepest sound I've heard from a Harley.

And that's why people can hear me 3 blocks away with my Monster Ovals.
