Default 2-Up both feet down?

Didn't get much on a search, maybe I'm the only one with this problem. Before I got the Ultra I always rode solo on the Heritage and never had a problem with sitting in defense position at a light with the left foot on the ground right on the brake ready to move if someone is coming in hot on your 6. However with the wife on the back this is all but impossible to do. Maybe because she's tall but there is no way I can balance the Ultra with just 1-foot down. My procedure coming to a stop is to use both brakes and just before stopping take my foot off the rear brake, apply more pressure with the front and put out the legs. What does everyone else do riding 2-up?

come to a stop, put your left foot down followed by your right foot. do not put the right foot down until you are stopped. I never set just one foot down, always left then right. I always use both brakes to stop.

both feet down - two fingers on front brake is plenty when you are stopped; easy to roll on throttle if needed.

When I am solo on the breakout I tend to just put left foot down, however when I am two-up on the streetglide it is always two feet on the ground. Sometimes on the longer trips, if I wait too long to stop and rest, my wife will get a bit fidgety at the stops so I like to be prepared for any weight shifts.

Two feet always. More planted and can always hit the gas to save my *** if necessary. Once the bike starts to go over cause your one footing it, its to late to catch it unless your Arnold which i am not.

Gues I'm different, again. Lol.

I use both brakes until about 10-15mph, then rear only so as not too accidentally lock front wheel and dump it. More often than not right foot stays on brake and left foot goes to ground, even with wife on the back. If at a light for a while I will put right foot down and a couple fingers on front brake but for me that seems to be the exception.

Solo is pretty much the same procedure

I never use front brake below 20 MPH unless coming to a panic/emergency stop.
Too easy to grab too much front brake, hit a dip in the road, etc.
Nearly dumped my Ultra 2 up first night I had it by grabbing too much front.

I go left foot down only solo or 2 up. However, in traffic, longer trips, etc., do what you have to do to be safe and in control.
