Reading all the DIY air ride threads, if the Monroe's are so much better than the stock air shocks why not just change to them. Noticed all the comment's of how smooth they ride. Just a thought.

I tried them and it didn't work out very well for me. Some will say I over pressured them. But I say they aren't made to carry load, only to cushion. The cars they are made for have springs to carry the load. I ride two up and loaded heavy for 2500 mile trips. They lasted a few days and did ride much better till they dropped all the way down and still had all the air in them. Butcher mod IMO.
