Default ABS light on after changing front pads, tire

Took my bike to a local indy to get a front tire. He said pads were worn so had him do that too. Picked up bike and ABS light is on solid when riding. I disconnected the battery for a while to see if that might reset something. Went into look at codes and got c1021 and reset it. Came right back on.
Any ideas what we might try?

front wheel speed sensor always reads zero - in other words, no signal. Is the sensor out of position or unplugged?

Need to make certain the ABS sensor is rotated up against the stop. Bout the only way to ensure that it is, is to loosen the axle nut and axle clamp. Rotate the sensor counter clockwise till it hits the stop and retighten. Also look at the rotation arrows on the rotors. If the arrows are pointing towards the rear of the bike your Indy installed the tire backwards on the wheel. If you installed the wheel on the bike yourself make sure you installed it in the correct rotation.

You got it.....he put it on backwards. Took it off, remounted tire so that arrows on rotors match tires and all is good. Ready to head to Destin, FL.

Good deal. That'll be something you learn to watch for.

Did he cover the cost of re work? I mean come on!!! Put the tire on backwards? I can see that with doing it yourself, but you pay some one to do it right..... Just sayin'.
