Wanted to try and see if color matched wheels would look good on the Glide - took to the powder shop and we tried a few sample mixtures and ended up pulling the trigger on the sample shown below... it turned out to have a whole lot MORE RED than the Sedona Paint does...

Needless to say - these are not going on bike and they are going to keep playing chemist for me until they get the color to match.

I'm still on the fence if I like the look... but I am going to try them out and see if I like them... before I make that final call!!

If at worst I dont - my powder guy will have the formula ready and on deck for a Sedona match and I can begin to send other parts there to get done

I left my side cover there yesterday and they just called and said they think they have another sample mix adjusted and "ready" to try again.

They are going to spray a larger item in the next few days and have me come up there to look at the item next to the bike (doing this before spraying wheels again)

If it matches this could be good....

 

Any update on the color match?

 

Will look pretty cool when they get it dialed in...
