installed slip-on mufflers only, what did you think about performance gains? How about those who have gone A/C and slip-ons and just a re-map? Thanks.

From bone stock to what i put on (see sig), was day and night. it would bog down on accel before and now gives a nice steady pull. Sound is just right for longer rides, not too loud, but people can still hear it's a Harley.

I've got SE Slips and AC, with Stage 1 download and the 903. I think it runs much better now, but still gets just as hot. I could go a little louder on the pipes.

You can feel the difference. The dealer did tell me that the factory recommends that you take off the lowers when temp goes over 70. I was asking about a SERT at the time because I want the bike to run more efficiently and reduce the temp. I talked to two different dealers about SERT and dyno and both of them talked me out of it.

I have SE II and AN Big Sucker, Stage 1 Download and you can definately tell the Difference, my Bike is Cooler and Pulls Harder thru-out

noticed better throttle response and more torque or pull throughout, but love the sound and can still here the mp3 jammin.

I have the SE slip ons, high capacity a/c, and the remap. All HD stuff. It sounds almost the same at idle but has a deeper rumble when accelerating. It does have noticeably more torque. Before it would bog at 2000 to 2300 rpm and now it powers right from 2000 and up. Also, it runs noticeably cooler. Before, my rear exhaust pipe at the cylinder/Y pipe would be glowing red when I came home at night. Not anymore.

From what I have read lately it seems that low end (real usable) torque on the 96" is very good with the stock pipes and air cleaner. SE slip-ons and air box did little to improve low end torque. The engine does run hot, but temperature can be reduced by richening the mixture at the low end. My2007 RG just arrived at the dealer today. At the 1000 mile maintenance I'm going to have them do a baseline dyno ($70). Then remap to richen it up a bit. Should run cooler and produce more torque.
