Cause of broken compensator spring cover??

Default Cause of broken compensator spring cover??

Took my bike in for primary leak and noise in primary and horrible noise sometimes when starting hot and they said my cover was broke and replaced with new rotor and spring cover assembly?? Is this normal or is something else going on to mske that break?? Thanks

the spring in the cup gets little to no lube, and wears it out it is a known issue.

Call Steve at GMR Performance in Ft Forth/ Dallas, TX.

He developed a cure for the compensator issues.
You can look it up on their web site.
