Default Compensator sprocket (kush drive) bearing removal

Has anyone on here replaced/installed the kush drive bearing without the use of the ridiculously expensive tool? Looks to me like it can be knocked/pressed out and the new one pressed in without the tool. I'm in industrial maintenance so I've removed and installed my fair share of bearings of all applications and sizes, just want to see if Im missing something

We just did mine. Pressed the old one out and pressed the old one in using a regular old bottle jack press, no special tools used. As long as you use common sense when pressing things out and in, you should be fine.

Remember to put new bearing in freezer for a few hours.Makes installation easier.
