Default 2014/2015 Primary cover gasket/seal ??

getting ready to change out primary fluids - parts book shows 17369-06 Gasket Service Kit.. looks to be small rubber seal/gasket?? On my 04 HD had changed to a large Flat gasket - covers the entire area?? have they changed Back??? I remember on my 2000 - that tiny seal/gasket on the primary was a PIA

My gasket set came with the gasket. I pulled out the o-ring and used the gasket without a leak. So I wouldn't worry about it, either/or. Just make sure your surfaces are clean and dry.

My '15 Limited Low uses the rubber o-ring. Have used it over & over with no problems.

On the stock derby cover you can run either/or - it comes stock with the o-ring but you can run the flat gasket cover.........

Default Re-use

Re-use the primary gasket.
I have 25k on mine. It's not going the leak unless you tear it.

+1. I have had my derby cover off more times than I can count. Always careful with the rubber gasket and have never had to replace it.
