My voltage reg took a dump when I had about 200 miles on the bike. This was last year, before a recall was announced. Had to contact the MoCo as the dealer said it would take about 7 weeks to get a new one. The factory was cool and even paid for the towing to the dealer to replace the reg. If they have had them fail often enough to issue a recall, I find it hard to believe that this dealer hasn't heard of one going bad....
