Damaged tailbone a couple of years ago and have been having problems riding over 50 to 100 miles without major discomfort. I am considering a mustang or sundowner anybody have any suggestions . Thanks.

It's an individual thing -- you need try them both. Everybody has their favorite (and will happily tell you), but only you have your a$$!

Best bet is to spot a couple installed and see which one fits ur butt best.

you might look into a road zeppelin seat they have air bags in seat that you can adjust for you comfort . One of them is under your tail bone

I had a mustang seat on my 2002 Yamaha Midnight Star. I now have one on my 2005 Dyna Wide Glide. Best seat on the market !!

I had the same question. I had a sundowner on my last bike but I ordered a Mustang seat tonight. With the Mustang I have heard nothing but great reviews and you can still use the Harley backrest if you have one.

I have had 3 Sundowner Seats on my ast 3 PUTTS... I like them (DAH) - But like anything else - NO SEAT is right for everyone..

I'm 6'4" 260+ and have done MANY Iron Butts with the Sundowner Seat...

Sundowner without a doubt is the best seat I have sat on for a HD. Two reasons I like them, they sit good right out of the box and if they need any tweaking it can still be done where with a Mustang if it dont fit...you aint going to make it fit because the way the seat is designed and put together. I just purchased a Sundowner for my bike after working on alot of them here lately. Of course I took mine apart and tweaked it for me and then installed memory foam front and back and my wife who is happy riding a stock Badlander said its the most comfortable motorcycle seat she has ever rode on and I have to agree with her it is.

I've had both and I think that they're about equal for comfort. However, the Sundowner will save you a little cash.
