Hey here is one you...I read a post by a member that said he didn't have a stock cartridge in his '09 RK forks so he didn't need to disassemble the entire fork...anyone know if this is true for 2011?
Just pick those up at the dealer sanman? Guessing just take a look at the parts manual or is it just the two fork seals..which bushings? Also pick up a couple of those screws and crush washers and fork oil. Anything else I might need other than the socket and allen wrench? Thanks buddy! got them today, install this weekend!
Highly, Highly, Highly recommend installing a front end kit while you have the front end apart. You will love the results. I went with the new Legend AXEO front end suspension.
Others prefer other brands, Ohlin, Progressive or Harleys premium suspension. I preferred the Legend setup for a lot of reasons, to each there own. The important thing is making the upgrade. IMHO, the bikes should come standard with this upgrade, its that much better than stock.
Scott - going with the monotubes. Got a good deal on them and just learning the feel of the bike so...it's a good place to start for me. If I want to upgrade later I'll then have another product under my belt to compare to, and it gets me into the garage.
