Default Quality Rear Wheel Bearings 02-07??

Need to replace my rear wheel bearings on my 2003 Ultra. I am having trouble finding American made bearings. Even bearings from Japan would be good. So I looking for bearing part numbers. Just trying to stay away from China crap!

I bought my last set from World Wide Bearings, a little more money but what appears to be a quality product. Customer service when I had a self inflicted misadventure that possibly may have compromised the bearings ( they held up) was exceptional. wwwbearings.com I think

The 1" Harley bearing is a quality piece, part 9247. Double sealed, made in Slovakia by one of the top mfg companies. It's all I use.

I'd have to agree. The bearings that you read about people having issues with are the 25mm for 2008 and newer.

The bearings have their life history engraved on them, they are an industry standard! If you are able to read one, the number will enable any bearing supplier to match them for you, which should allow you to select a brand. There are threads with the details, although they are no doubt buried somewhere in the HDF archive!

These are the ones I use, however the proprietor is quite knowledgeable and can set you up with the correct bearing # ceramic or otherwise.

The Harley bearing was proprietary wasn't available anywhere else until a couple years ago.
