Never tried the PV software but after losing START menu multiple times and having to perform fix to restore it went back Win 7. I really saw no advantages Win 10 and hated there new social browser.

I have W10 on a cheap laptop. I just hooked up my PV and updated programs and firmware, no problems.

Keith I've been a computer engineer since '78 and beleive me I've adapted to change all my life. IMO Win 10 isn't stable if I lose start menu 3 times in month. I don't see enterprise customer switching to it it. Now if your coming from Vista or Win 8 you might think Win 10 is best thing since slice bread

Well, I worked at Microsoft for 22 years, so I guess I'm a bit biased, I love it.

Especially on my Surface Pro 3, which I also think is the cats ***.

Never heard of anyone experiencing what you've described, but I guess it wont be 100% perfect for everyone. I'm on the insider program running pre-release builds, and I have to say, rock solid here. Also on a bunch of home laptops and friends, no issues.

Google it and you'll find bunch hits on it. Have to go in Powershell and reinstall app package. I am sure they'll fix it just not worth hassle for me presently.
