Default 2014 flhtp radio help

My friend just purchased a 2014 FLHTP Electra Glide police model last night. His first Harley to own so the dealer welcomed him into the family very nicely.
If you are in Texas buy from Longhorn HD in Grand Prairie.

Is question is what diner have to do to get a radio install into his bike?

First step would be a service manual so you can see the parts that are needed. Are you looking to install a 4.5 or 6.5" HD radio or aftermarket?

The next question should be what price range?
I picked up a XD Vision #xd107 and schosche 6.5 from the local Wal-Mart. About 55 bucks spent. Cut the glove box to insert head unit. Sounds decent for the cash spent.
Now if anything was to happen before the bike is paid for I lost $55 and not hundreds.
