what boots have the thickest soles and heels? and no I don't want kiss boots. Not real keen on lowering my bike. I would rather do it by boots and seat mods. bike is 2013 road glide custom
Thanks

I have a pair of Red Wing boots with a heel taller than 2". Had them for years, they are very comfortable.

I wear Red Wing 968 Engineer boots. They have a really sticky sole (Vibram Laramie) and have enough thickness to allow me to flat foot.

I know you said you don't want to lower it, but if your hesitation is ride comfort you can work around that. I put an air bag suspension on the back. I can lower it down to maneuver in a parking lot or back up and raise up for the comfortable ride. Best investment I've made on the bike. And I don't always need huge boots to move my bike.

Ever try shifting you body to the left or right when you want to stop and put a foot down? Centering you body and trying to put both feet down is useless when you can securely use one leg and shifting your body to that direction to put your foot down.

any logger boot with a thick vibram sole will help.

i have a 29" inseam, so i wouldn't mind being a bit lower as well

check out Mean City Cycles to get your stock seat re-worked.
they told me they can drop me at least 1"

I've been using them (dr. Marten Jadon boots) for a little over 2 years. Been pretty happy with them, but all depends with how they fit you. Sure is tough being short when it comes to motorcycles LOL. (I'm 5'6" 27-28" inseam)

Here's a quick pic of there pair I have. They are the grayish brown version.
