Changing brake fluid
I am sure this as been asked before but I really need info! Can you change the brake fluid out on a ultra classic with ABS, everyone says it can be done and the abs will be bypassed if you don't turn the key on. But does this mean that old brake fluid will stay in the ABS

The ABS WILL trap some of the old fluid. It should be a very small amount and I don't worry about it. I do change the fluid every two years religiously....
Here is a schematic of a Harley-type ABS module. If not activated when bleeding (which the dealer does with his Digital Tech II computer) the old fluid will be isolated in the line between the pump, accumulator, and dump valve.... not sure how much that volume is...
