Default She's Tight! ....... adjusted steering head bearings

I adjusted the steering head bearings on my 2012 Ultra Limited with 37k miles last night. I turned the bearing adjuster nut a bit less than 1/4 turn. When I checked it at 25k and beyond it was within spec for the number of "swings". Service manual says 3 to 4 swings for my model. Before I adjusted it, it was at 4 swings and a real small extra one. This was out of spec. I decided to check it because when I took my hands off my bars to zip my jacket at 35mph, I had a wobble, the bars wobbeled back and forth with out and hand pressure. Tonight on my test ride, "She's tight"
I noticed right away the entire bike felt tighter, and no more wobble. I guess I did not realize how loose the front end was feeling since it was a gradual deterioration.
The entire process was much easier than I thought it would be.

Can you describe the adjustment process?

Basically: I Put bike on my J&S jack and pulled main fuse, took off my outer faring, removed my radio, with CB and Ipod module. This is to get at the steering head nut. I then loosened the steering head nut. I loosened the lower triple tree fork pinch bolts. I again tested the # of swings with everything removed to get a base line. I then turned the adjuster nut clockwise, a bit at a time, while testing # of swings of the front end until it was where I wanted it. I torqued steering stem nut and rechecked swings to see if this changed it, which it did not. Reversed the rest of the process to put back together.

Thanks! I'm assuming that all this is detailed in the manual.
