Default Brake lights steady on..

I've got an 07 ultra and the brake lights are staying on all the time. Changed bulb to new LED replacement and still stay on. Any ideas on tracking down. Couldn't find anything in service manual.

Unplug your rear brake switch and see if that turns it off. If not, it's the front. Check the switches to see if they're sticky or broken.

Yep, me too. Though I was able to push the lever away from the grip and it would go off. Don't know if I had a weak spring or a gummed up piston but rebuilding fixed it.
If you decide to do the front be careful to use a shim between the switch and the le er or you can break the switch.

When my 07 did that, it was the rear brake switch.

Ok. I'm really starting to think I'm losing it. Checked the rear switch and no change. I'm trying to find the front switch.. Service manual doesn't show it, like it does the rear, unless I've missed it. Thanks for the help.

You are halfway finished.
Good luck!
I am thinking it's one or the other, too.
