Default Forks Locked When Changing Fork Oil

I was changing the fork oil on my 2010 Electra Glide Classic and I might have screwed up.

It was all going great... Ignition switch removed, changed the oil in the left fork but when I was removing the fork cap on the right fork I inadvertently turned the forks all the way to the left and now it's locked and I can't move it.

Is this a major tragedy or a minor tragedy?? Any help would appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

When I remove the ignition switch, I have the tool that I insert to lock, unlock, or turn on the scoot. You can unlock the fork by reinstalling the ignition switch if you don't have the tool.

Bwahahaha. Mine was purchased from Kent Moore back in the day. Unfortunately I had to update my tool chest with another (JIMs this time) when HD decided to change the size on the Rushmores.

Had the same thing happen on my '08 this past weekend when I was changing my fork oil.

Do what DAWG said, just re-install the ignition switch and unlock the forks. I left mine in until I was done and ready to put the dash back together.
