Default Capt'n Itch Crotch cooler

Hey y'all!

I recently purchased a crotch cooler from Capt'n Itch (http://shop.captain-itch.com/Harley-...hields_c58.htm). What a difference it makes for redirecting the heat. The smell the first couple of times it get hot was horrible, but not really unexpected. But it will remain on my bike as my TC88 runs much hotter than my EVO did. Good heavy leather product that should last for years on this bike and hopefully fit my next one.

Does it raise the seat at all?

Not at all. You won't notice it save redirected heat.

No it doesn't. It went onto my 2002 UltraClassic easily.

I bought one quite some time ago, but unfortunately would not work with the Corbin Solo seat. Keep that in mind if you have the solo. I agree it is a nice piece as is everything Captain Itch makes.

So your saying it works well directing the heat away while moving. How about sitting at an all day traffic light. Would it trap the heat on the cylinder head while stopped? Y'all saying it's worth the price
