New to ME Tour pack - should have got a long time ago!
Found a guy on Craigslist parting out a 2011 RG and was selling his Tourpack - just so happened to be the same color as my 13 - Sedona Orange - and it already had the quick disconnect mount on it.
Always wanted one just couldnt bring myself to drop $1400+ on a new one from HD.
He was asking $1000 OBO, and After a little haggling we settled on a trade, which included trading a 357 I had and some cash, I was out about $600 all together(including pistol)
Took a weekend trip and the Tourpack was amazing for storage and the ol' lady loved it. I'm not too sure it will come off very often! Love it. Ordering speaker pods this week!
I feel it needs something on the back, maybe some lights or a logo.. any good suggestions?

This one is the O.E.M.

The E-Bay is a "bootleg" part but several members have installed it with no ( to very few ) problems. It is NOT a "plug and play" unit. Wiring needs to be addressed.

When I bought my '12 Limited, I was sure one of the 1st mods on my list was going to be the tour pak quick disconnect kit.
I just knew I was going to only have the tour pak mounted for trips and a sissy bar w/pad for most of my riding time......
Yeah, the bike is 4 years old and I still haven't done it....
It's not the cost, just don't want to take the tour pak off.... it is way convenient and I don't "feel the weight" like everybody said...
Glad you were able to find a deal on one.... it looks good!
I would add lights to the back of the tour pak.... I think it looks too bare without them... I think the HD LED bar would look great on your tour pak, and with LEDs it's an additional safety factor..
Enjoy!

I got one from a guy i worked with last year for 65 bucks, Just the tour pack. So i bought a Quick Detach mount from Ebay for 65 bucks, Paid a guy 100 bucks to paint it and will be buying a kit to hook the lights up to it. I love it, we are taking it on our trip to Arkansas next week. I love the damn thing! Its so damn handy!
