How Many Miles Per Tank
I know results may vary with bikes, and set ups. So, how many miles do you get per tank before filling up? Not MPG (Miles per gallon), but miles per tank. Please include bike info, and tank size.

RE: How Many Miles Per Tank
I get 38-39 mpg, so I always try to fill up at 160 miles or so. I once went 180 and didn't even hit the reserve tank ('05 rk custom, 5 gallon tank), not sure how that happened, but it was a shocker.

RE: How Many Miles Per Tank
I'm getting 44 mpg. Put 190 on a tank the other day though and low fuel light had not yet come on.

I think it would be interesting to also know which bikes are modified with which options... then be able to compare the results.Keep the shiny side up ;)

RE: How Many Miles Per Tank
My low fuel light comes on consistently around 165 miles. I have a '06 Street Glide, SEAC, V&H Pro-pipe HS 2-1 with the freer flowing competition baffle, and fuel management by Total Fuel tuner.

RE: How Many Miles Per Tank
I fill up on a daily basis (on my return home from work). I fill up right at about 110 miles. That way I don't have to worry about riding the next day into work. I've gone to a lil over 200 before and that makes me nervous. I usually get around 44-46mpg but worry if I did a lil too much gas-n-go or if I hadn't topped it off enough. I haven't done much in the way of long-hauling thus far. Plan on doing 2300 trip to Sturgis-n-back (not including the rides there) and do plan on some other shorter trips over the next couple weekends. Just riding on the weekends I have no problem with going 180 before fueling up.
