Default Corbin seats

As I'm doing all my seat searching & questioning people I'm
noticing people either love Corbin seats or hate them because
they're too hard . I got to wondering how many of the people
who find the seats too hard are lighter weight than some of us
old fat men & maybe that's why they find the seats too firm .
Any ideas ?

The older ones are hard. Hard is hard it don't matter your weight. The newer ones I would consider much softer. Mine fits a 2011

I'm thinking of buying a dual tour for a `14 to put on my `12 .
The `14 seat has a wider passenger area that should keep mama
happy .

Don't believe anything you read! Mrs B and I have had our Corbin for at least 15 years and love it. Hard? Nonsense - it's a wonderful and supportive shape that suits both of us. Can't imagine anything more comfortable. And yes, we've done lengthy touring trips, riding well into old Eastern Europe from our home in the UK.

Makes one wonder indeed! I have a solo one on my Firebolt, which is also fine, although the riding position is very different on that bike.

Put a Corbin on yesterday yes it was firmer than stock I only rode it for 4 hrs but it was comfortable. Didn't feel the need to move around to relieve pressure points. Seems just a little higher when I stop to put my legs down ,I'm only 5'8" and it is a longer reach to the ground.

I always thought of Corbin, as a saddle...
they don't confirm to you, as much as YOU conform to them.
Each seat brand does what it doses, each rider needs what they need.... trick is to learn what you need, and then find the seat that will work for you

and after a few dozen seats, on several bikes...I can tell you... knowledge ain't cheap

I'm a bigger guy (250) and Corbin was horrible for me. One thing though, I have very little natural padding, so that is a factor on the hard seats for me.

Mine was on an 06, and it was a dual tour. I could ride 50 miles tops, before the pain was bad enough to have to stop and get off.

I had this seat 5 or so years ago, and I still can't get past how uncomfortable the seat was. I feel like I could have sat on a concrete block and been more comfortable.

That is exactly what it is, a saddle. I am 250#'s pounds and would not ride anything but a Corbin.
