This question was probably asked before, if you can lead me in the correct direction I appreciate it!
I'm in process buying remainder of parts for my cam upgrade on my 2012 FLHR Road King for this winters project. I'm going with #09250668 Andrews 57H cams, S&S installation kit for chain drive camshafts #106-5929, S&S tappets #330-0175, S&S pushrod kit adjustable w/covers & keepers #93-5095.
My question: How many flats is the correct adjustment to give proper pushrod adjustment to center of tappet?
I'm aware adjustments (flats) rely on thread count, per-inch and unaware what thread count S&S uses so I'm relying on the experts input setting my project on correct specs.
Here is a link to the instruction sheet. But for the sake of brevity they are 32 TPI and would require 4 turns or 24 flats. I used turns when I did mine because my memory is too short to remember how many flats. http://assetcloud02.roccommerce.net/...e_pushrods.pdf
Got it, thanks! One last question: I have the S&S tappets #330-0175 can take these apart and install limit traveler spacers, what is the performance advantage over the stock version?

.
Forget that idea. Limit travel spacers intended for racing applications.
FWIW, Pocono Mountain HD was pretty high on the Andrews 57H, they did mine a few years ago, getting good numbers.
Well, come to find out this past weekend they haven't been using that cam for almost 2 years now.
They are using the TTS Cam, comes on at 2000 rpm's. Same HP increase as the 57H but the torque was like 112.
With the TTS-100's I've seen 116tq on a stone stock 103" with fm headpipe and rh muffs. 100tq at 2-2200 rpm. They seem to work well, no noise, no drama at all.
