Ive emailed dynajet twice on this without response. (someone said their customer support was epic, must not have meant them) I have an 03 road king with kerker slips, High Flow A/C and the power commander V. The bike has the factory dealer ECM flash for stage one. When installing the PCV I went to their maps on Dynajets web sight and found two. One that says without flash and the other with flash. I selected the one with. My question is does the PCV used part of the stage one flash in it? And if not why does it offer the map that has the flash if it has no bearing?
The PCV is making adjustments to the map flashed in the ECM.
Think of it as an in-line or piggyback device. It doesn't change the map in the ECM, just makes adjustments to it.
The dealer stage 1 download actually changed the map in the ECM.
If you compare the 2 maps you mentioned, the difference between them should theoretically be the difference between stock and the dealer stage 1 download.

Relying solely on email is lazy. Pick up the phone and call them....they ARE good. Not as good as Fuel Moto, but they care about their product/customers. Call, then email.

To answer your question, yes there is a difference in the maps. The tuner your using needs to know what's flashed into the ECM so that it can trick it properly.
