Default Bat Lashes LED Lights

Wife bought me a set of the Kuryakyn bat lashes LED lights. She saw them on another UC and thought they looked awesome. Trouble I have is it requires drilling a hole in the fairing. To me that's the equivilant of drilling a hole in your face. She's a huge supporter of all the mods I want and have to be delicate here. Anyone installed these? Am I making a bigger deal of it than I need to.

Default Bat lashes

So has anyone pulled the trigger on the LED batlashes. How did it go.
I have a set I'm going to install but I'm freaking out about drilling those holes!

I have LED 7" headlight and running lights that work great, and will also be installing the halo lights.

If you don't want to drill holes, return the lashes and get the LED mirrors.

I had to drill holes in my inner fairing(Painted to match the bike) for a set of Kury chrome mirror covers that had blinkers...gulp. Once you get over the initial shock and the raging case of the trots...It is fine. Take your time.

Default Oh boy. The nerves

I installed my luggage rack on my UC. Drilling that must be the same anxiety. But I wanted it. Masked it off. But still gives me chills thinking about it.

Do you get a rubber grommet for the hole?? Hate to think you put a hole in it just for wires..

Pay attention to what you're doing and do it. No problem. I took delivery of my Ultra at 4:00 PM on a Friday. By 6:00 PM I was home taking it apart, drilling holes, replacing stuff, etc.
