My Road King uses the same oil filter as my 1988 Toyota.

I just stumbled on this when I was pulling a Wix oil filter for my old Toyota 4x4. I keep all my filters in the same cabinet and noticed the numbers on my chrome filters for my 2000 RK matched the Toyota numbers. Nice to know I have two vehicles with crossover filters. It would have to be and emergency to put a chrome filter on the old pickup. LOL

That doesn't seem right according to WIX.

Your RK should take a 57348 or a 57148.

Your Toyota should take a 51348 if it's a 4runner or truck, a 51515 if it's a land cruiser.

Are you perhaps misreading the 7 and 1?

You are right, and I'm wrong. Hate when that happens. Now if I can delete this post so as to not advertise my stupidity.

It happens. Especially as we get older and have to rely on "readers" and don't use them. I remember laughing at my mom when she first started wearing them. Now the shoe is on the other foot. She really doesn't laugh though, just that look that only mothers can give. You know the look...

To Late, it is here for eternity on the Internet to see...
Do it all the time and realized I need (cheaters) reading glasses when tinkering on the bike and looking at instructions.

I CAN RELATE, I seem to read my speedometer 20mph slower than I going. Thank goodness the local law enforcement is looking out for me by reminding me of my mistake.
