Serious gas cap question

I have not used one so I can not be of any help there. However with all the gas cap "BS" I actually suggested this would be a good idea if HD would go this route.

Out of context, but on the Fords the gas cap gets a little rusty or tight and the check engine light goes on so to prevent it I spray a little penetrating oil in there once in a while . Sorry to highjack this thread but thought it might save someone some money.

I have that type of cap on my Ford F150. I don't think I'd want one on my Street Glide though. On a truck or car the gas cap sits on top of a filler pipe going down to the gas tank. The gas cap on a motorcycle sits right on top of the tank.
