Also, http://www.directcycleparts.com has great prices on aftermarket parts, as does Eastern Performance.

Depends on what and how much. Board Tracker I find is pretty good on things from the P&A catalog, but they recently upped the hurdle for "free" shipping.
Ronnie's charges for shipping but for fiche parts I found them overall cheaper than Boardtracker, even factoring in shipping charges. (Shipping isn't really free, unless FedEx and pals don't charge for delivery)
Discounts are still out there online if you look for them.

The point of ordering online is to get the cheapest price you can get.
If the dealer offers 'free shipping', this means the price to get said item is somewhat cheaper than a dealer that doesn't offer it.............

Not for me. The point of ordering online is to be able to order from the convenience of my living room, kitchen table, home office, or hotel room (30% or 40% of my nights), and have a package delivered to my front door. Sometimes, I'm willing to pay a few dollars more for that convenience, and sometimes it means that I can get it sooner!
