I just replaced front rotors last spring because one was warped bad. Bought brand new take offs from a forum member. 1 year of riding and the are warped again.
I am not hard on breaks, If anything I use the rear break 60% more than I do the front. Are Harleys OEM rotors just that dang crappy. Wheel bearings were fine when I changed the rotors last spring. The wheel spins freely now. I don't think bearings are an issue.
What are some good rotors (floating) that wont warp like the OEM rotors.
Go with some reasonable cost floating rotors. My factory one generally went 25-30,000 Then I would just replace them with floating rotors and never touch them again
3 Sets for me. Total junk. Have Road Winder rims (08 CVO Roadking) after market rotors not available at least I can't find any that fits the rim. Put new ones on again at the end of last season. I'm sure they will be warped by the end of this season. Oh did I mention that they are junk. I personally think its because the actual friction surface of the rotor is not wide enough and they cant take the heat or stress being put on them thru normal use. And again did I mention that these are junk?

EBC makes rotors that will fit your bike, have a set on mine. Liquidr1, what year & model do you have? I've had the Harley D floating rotors, Lyndall, & EBC rotors. None of them have warped.
Not the best pic.
I'm at just over 30K and just installed my third set of front "floating" rotors. I'm wondering it the Lyndall Z+ pads that I put on at 4K are contributing to the warping so I also switched back to stock pads. I'll take a little brake dust if the rotors don't warp. Time will tell if the stock pads helped. I do use the front brakes a lot more than the rear.
