Have I messed up?
Been watching these forums for a while and finding all kinds of help, but now...
I recently got a 2007 FLHTC with about 16,000 miles on it (for $6k ). I decided to get a tuner. The bike had V&H slash cut rounds and an unknown high air filter element, but I wasn't sure it had been tuned. I bought an FP3. Went to put it on and, noob mistake,....it had a dynojet pro commander on it. So without completely inspecting my bike...duh.
I attached the FP3, since the DPC wasn't "connected" to the ECM. I wanted to auto tune and have the ease of tuning at my "phone" tips.
Not sure what to do with the DPC, remove and save it, maybe sell it off, or what? Just leave it on there in case the FP3 takes a dump???
The bike was running okay, but since I dropped the funds for the FP3 and so far, I'm happy with it, I'm thinking I'll keep it on the bike and not connected?
Thoughts?
