I did the same with the throttle response I think I went in the middle no lag time when I twist my grip it reacts now pretty cool feature

 

I"m not much of a gear head so what are the external crankcase breathers going to help with? i did install the map you suggested. we have had rain, and i've had to drive my truck need to ride and get a good feel for the bike.

 

Go to DK Customs website there is a link on external breathers and why.
Also use the search function on forum for external breathers or crankcase breathers, lots of info available.
They keep hot and oiley air from the combustion chamber. Runs better, longer.
