Depends on where you want the power at.
take off power, passing power, hot rod power for drag racing.
how do you ride one up , two up.
do you tour across country,or do you bar hop.
or just short rides around town.or do you open it up on highway and run wide open.
you need to tell how you ride the bike and what you want the bike to do.
than you will get some answers, probably enough to confuse you.

If you need torque AND HD cams, go SE255.....

I have them on my '12 Limited. Installed them at delivery to maintain warranty. They do drop off around 4K rpms, but for 2-up riding in the normal rpm range they give good power...

Now that I'm off warranty, I will be changing the cams... there are better cams, just not HD or warranty compliant..

I was leaning toward 585 or 259 the valve springs need to be changed , my service rep. informed me the 103 HO already has cams that compare to the 255 cams

Your riding matters? Wrong cams will hurt MPG.
5 gallon tank, 5 speed & bad cam choice will drop you below 180 miles per tank at current highway speeds. My 04 flht runs great, but groups riders hate having to stop with over 1/3 a tank & my low fuel light is on. Switch cams & some regrets.
