Radio turns off when I hit a bump?

Strange problem. Sometimes when I hit a bump the radio stops playing. I reach up, turn it off, turn it on again and it works. Seems to be happening more frequently lately.

Take off the front fairing, then turn on the radio and wiggle every wire and connector inside the fairing, and power all the way to the fuse block. Oh yeah...and make sure the fuse is inserted all the way, and the terminals are clean. If this doesn't replicate the problem, then repeatedly wrap your fist or a rubber mallet on the radio. You'll eventually find the culprit. If it's in the radio, send it to Iron Cross for repair.

Oh yeah...I used to repair car radios, and many of the problems could be isolated by the above diagnosis...if they were intermittent.

Good luck.

sounds like the little pins behind the faceplate on the radio. remove faceplate and bend them outward slightly and clean and replace.
