2004 Eglide ignition switch HOUSING
Hey guys. I need some help with my 2004 Eglide ignition "switch housing". I took it apart and did not look closely enough at it and now it wants to be stubborn about going back together. It is NOT the chrome **** but the switch housing beneath it where the actual electrical contacts and the fork lock pin are located.
Hopefully there's an attachment of it with this. Anyway, does anyone have a pic or video or something that shows the inside of the unit. I have turned it every which way and cannot get it to function. Again, it is NOT the chrome **** but the "switch housing" that I need help with. There a plenty of videos out there about how to remove and replace the chrome know but I have not found anything about the switch housing. And yep, looks like it is a unit that is not serviceable but they put screws in it so it's not my fault .....that I took it apart. ANY help will be appreciated. Thanks Mike

a pic of the switch housing
The attached is a pic of the inside of the switch housing. I'm looking for a pic of one with the face plate removed and nothing else removed so I can compare and see what position the round tumbler is in. The bullet shaped plunger is the fork lock plunger and it goes in the cradle between the red wires. Any one got one of these that they can share ???

Well,,, I finally removed the front fairing so I could get to the plug and removed the housing to get it to the work bench. Looked at it up close and personal and worked it back and forth several times and all of a sudden, the tumbler started turning further around and thats when I saw two very small ball bearing looking things with holes through them. Took them out and finally figured that they went over each end of shaft that goes through the fork lock plunger to assist it's movement when the tumbler turns. Anyway, long story short, put it all back together and the darn thing works like a charm. HAPPY DAYS!!!!!
