Are the older style saddlebag guards interchangeable with the newer style? My assumption is that the redesign was to accommodate the way the newer saddle bags open. I am considering putting the newer style saddle bag guards on a 2006 Ultra.

 

Have you checked on the HD site under part/shop for bike? I know the 14+ guards won't fit on my 13 and there was a frame change for 2009.
