Sirius xm radio kit but Sirius not recognizes boom radio as navweather capable
Had Sirius radio kit installed on 2017 ultra limited. Had navweather display for 4 days and boom radio showed Sirius specialty services navweather as subscribed. After 4 days it switched to unsubscribe. Called Sirius to have it reactivated and they say it does not show up in their system as an available option for the radio. When I explained to Sirius that boom radio with Sirius radio kit did have navweather displayed for 4 days and after they researched, they said Harley had sent them info on the radio when the bike was manufactured and they had not said it was navweather capable with the add on Sirius radio kit and therefore Sirius had not branded the radio as having that capability. Sirius has elevated my issue to their corporate office and advised me they should be able to rebrand it in their system so as to show up as having that option. They also stated when Harley gave them the radio info on the bike at manufacture they usually broadcast all their signals to the new radio for 3 months and my bike must have had a few days left. Any other 2017 models have this problem?

The HD Module is like a PC board (think like a video card or other add on PC slot board).
You remove a cover on the back of the head unit and install the HD SiriusXM module just like you do adding a card to a PC.
