Default Keeping a trailer at a harley dealer

Anyone have a feeling on this. Live in Ky and heading west. Don't feel like eating up vacation days doing 80 on the highway for 2-3 days out and back.

And I know, real bikers ride, trailers suck, I suck, he sucks she sucks

What ever floats your boat and leave " bikers " out of this, it's such a misused term.

It's your vacation and bike - why do you care what anyone else thinks! People ride for all sorts of reasons and none matter to anyone but the person riding that bike.

Trailer if necessary and save your vacation time. Fellow riders do the same to escape while away but can't ride all that way for physical issues. But again, it's your vacation and bike.

Enjoy!

If trailering allows you to go, when riding there/back doesn't, then do it.

Riding there/back doesn't seem to offer anymore "street cred" than not.

After all, some of "us" are riding trikes now...

Just go. When that bike is moving you are on your way, whether the wheels are turning or not. Get there and enjoy the ride. No judgement on two wheels.

I don't understand, are you leaving the bike in a trailer at a dealer or storing the trailer at a dealer by your destination?

either way, I trailer all the time on vacation. I'm not going to ride the bike while the wife, kids and dogs are in a vehicle next to me.

Done it a couple times. I'm sure there are folks that ride south from NY in January/February, but I'll do that in a trailer every time.

If you have a fairly well planned out route call ahead and talk to the dealer. I always check with the sales manager at my local dealer too, he often has a recommendation for bigger areas. I've never had a problem at a dealer that I reached out to ahead of time. Just pulling up can be risky depending on size of dealer lot, events during the time period etc. Had really good experiences in Orlando FL and Roanoke VA before - salesman met me with map of local rides, restaurant recommendations, service guys unloaded my bikes from my trailer (didn't ask them to and shocked they would offer because of insurance concerns etc). Nice to know you're stuff is in good hands, one less thing to worry about on the road.

I have always been able to keep my trailer at the hotel I stay at. Sometimes I have to disconnect but it's worked out for me in 46 states so far.

I also do not understand the question.
Could you be a little more vague?
