Default Klock Werks 6.5 vs 8.5

Have been reading up on the forum, trying to chose the right size between 6.5 and 8.5 Klock works shield. Plenty of opinions out there, but I thought I'd share my experience. Sampled both today at Eastern's over in MD. 8.5 gets rid of all the noise and buffeting (awesome!!!) but the problem is that the edge of the 8.5 is right in my line of sight so I am looking either above or below the shield, which is quite annoying after a few minutes. Probably not a problem on the highway, but the city riding is a different story for me. The 6.5 is much better than stock but still leaves a bit of the wind hitting me from the sides and right above my eyes. Definitely trails 8.5 However, I am looking right over the 6.5 and its much less bothersome for me. Went with the dark smoke 6.5. I am 6'2'' with a corbin solo seat. Hope this helps if someone is looking at these shields - but definitely get one, a world of difference from stock!

No way either of those work worth a damn. I had the 14" Sport Flare. Didn't work worth a damn and it didn't move air around me or above me; still had the same affect as my stock shield after intalling it, so I put my factory shield back on the bike and went back to understanding a motorcycle is all about getting IN THE WIND. Plus, the factory shield looks better IMO.
