Default 2012 Street Glide voltage regulator

Has anyone had any problem with the voltage regulator on a 2012 glide, and was that a problem with them?

Yes, there was a recall.
My 2012 did not qualify however, I had issues from day one (low voltage then pegged).
Like a dumbass, I bought the extended warranty.
Made it to Daytona HD with a dead battery and no charge. Still cost me $150 because I would have to spend the night (the day before Octoberfest) if I didn't buy a new battery.
Check HD's recalls to see if yours is covered.

Mine crapped out earlier this. Ordered a replacement from Amazon for about $76.00 and it has been fine since.

www.cycleelectricinc.com They'll have exactly what you'll need. Great product. Made in the good old USA too!

How long has it been since you bought the replacement? I've seen the amazon ones and often wondered if they were reliable. Might go that route.

I want to say around March or April? I've put a couple thousand miles on it, so far so good. Looked exactly like the one I removed from the bike.
