Default Lowering my Electra Glide question

Question: I'm going lower my bike by about 1.5 inches. Will this make the handle bars seem an inch or so higher?

Only if you lower the seat

No Sir, make sure you lower the front and rear equally so the bike still handles correctly, and see the post about what kind of boots to wear. This will help with feeling steadfast on your bike. You can also modify the seat and cut some foam out, or buy a lower seat.

I am only lowering the back. I am not as dumb as the question seems! I realize that lowering both front and back would not change things, but since I'm just doing the rear, wondered if they would position the handle bars a bit higher.

Stand up. Put your hands on top of your head.
Now without moving your hands, sit down. Do your hands now feel higher in the air?
