Default 1 1/4" riser and a 1" bar?

Will a 1 1/4" riser accommodate a 1" bar? Looking to put risers on a 2017 Road King. The Harley ones are 1 1/4. Dealer said I'd need a 1 1/4 bar. True?

Thanks.

yes, you will either needs bars at 1 1/4 to fit the riser

or you will need to change risers to fit a 1 inch bar.

Thanks, but it work, if I'm reading correctly. The adapter allows chubby bars to be installed in 1 1/4 risers. I'm looking to install 1" bars in a 1.25 riser.

Or did I read it wrong?
