No joke, consider somthing like this for your riding boots. Keep in mind they'll change the way the boot fits but on the bike they can help tremendously for 10-20$ instead of 600$ and up. At the very least you can buy yourself some time while you research other options.

There is a local cobbler that said he would add an extra 1/2 inch sole on my riding boots for $60.00, not too bad. I also installed Progressive 944 HD on my '13 Road Glide Ultra, it's a 12" shock (lowered the bike 1 inch) but the shock is designed to ride like a 13" shock. They are a bit finicky on adjustments. Also did the seat mod from Mean City Cycles. I have noticed the narrow primary cover from HD, I think I've put enough money into that venture. I'm good.

A friend has air adjustable shocks that lower the bike via a button on the handlebar. He lowers it at stop and raises it when moving. Best of all choices.

I have the Olin's 2-2bs on my 2012 street glide, I put a set of the 12" harley adjustable shocks on my buddy's bike for him, it is also a 2012 street glide. I no I will get a lot of static for saying this, but his bike rides just as good as mine.

Many people lower seats, but they do not narrow the seats. Some bikes have more to gain in that are than others.

Default Lowering blocks

If you have no complaints about your current suspension I would look at "lowering blocks" you can get ones that lower you up to 3in. And they range from $30-$50 from aftermarket dealers. Also look at mean city cycles about having your seat customized, they can work miracles. For a lot less than a new suspension system/aftermarket seat.

Legend Revo-A rear shocks give the same ride height as the 12" Harley shocks, but are 13". With the rebound dialed in, the ride is far superior to the Harley brand. They are expensive, but I wouldn't trade mine for anything else!

I bought a HD reduced reach seat, I HATED it! My jewels were effing the gas tank! This seat also moves you forward.
Like Goose is saying, My next try was sending my stock seat to MCC for their "supper narrow." I did not have them move my seating position forward, just lower and narrow the seat. That was like 40k miles ago, and I'm still happy with my seat. It is comfortable for all day riding, and I can flat foot my bike. I'm good on slopes and gravel. They gave me a date to send in the seat, and they turned it around faster than they promised too. Go for it
