Default Location of Primary drain plug 06 Road Glide ?

Don't have a manual yet and have searched the 'web', still can't find the damn primary chaincase drain plug ! I know where it is on an 07 but not an 06. Would somebody PLEASE post a pic. for me ?...b.

Item 21 in the above picture. Looks like the 07 and later were underneath and the 06 is facing out, just under the primary cover.

Make sure to use the correct wrench. Those buggers are easy to strip.

The spot is the same 06 and 07. Same spot for decades. 6 speeds have orings. Which I prefer.

If you have never done it before, just be honest.

06 drain plug is in a different spot than the 07. Check the 'Ronnies' pic. above...b.

To the point you cant find it????? Not that different. 6 speeds use orings, where they used to use sealant.

Ok I was wrong not the exact same spot. Looks like 6 speed is in inner primmary, 5 speed outer. But they are located about an inch apart. The 6 speed has a plug like a drain.

But I was wrong not the exact same place. But so close, I couldn;t remember it being different.

buy the manual. Else you risk re-torquing to the wrong value someday and doing more damage then a manual costs.
