Default Hog works lowers

Well temps are dropping, looking at getting some lowers for my road glide. I don't have any cold weather gear so I was thinking lowers with chaps and riding jeans should allow me to ride when it's in the upper 30s or lower 40s, and they keep A lot of rain off you should you get caught in it.

Anyways, anyone running the hog works lowers? Should I spend the dough on the HD ones? The HD ones are like 700 bucks and the hog works ones are 300 for vivid black ones. Or should I just get some soft lowers? I don't like how those look but they sound like their effective and are easy to remove.

Don't use lowers enough to drop big bucks on them so I figured I would try the soft lowers for like $80. To my surprise they work fine for me, granted I'm not riding in fridged conditions but for what I need they are good enough.
Only use them for a few weeks out of the year, late fall and early spring. Don't ride in Chicago winters

I recently went through this and ended up with ordering the Hog Workz lowers. Since I had to get them painted to match, it wasn't quite as cost effective as it would be for you, but I highly recommend them.

How about the Advan Black lowers? You can get them painted to match most colours and not a bad price.

I bought the knock-off knock-offs on ebay for $62.00 and they work great. Paint was great and they even came with all the installation hardware.

Advan Blacks lowers are a exact duplicate of HD lowers.I have had two sets, one in Vivid Black and one on Velocity Red Sunglow and paint is a perfect match.
