Default Crashin sucks

Well.last night my bike may have bit the dust. Car pulled out in front of me and we hit the front ends together. Luckily enough i came out with just a broken wrist and little road rash. So my question to this is if the bike is repairable im thinkin it wont ever be the same. 2nd is if its totaled would you go for a new bike with the m8 or build another 103. Mine has a fuel.moto 107 on it. Whats some pros and cons of the m8 that people are findin. If i do go with an m8 id do exhaust air cleaner and a tune right off the start. Any other upgrades worth noting such as a cam or any must dos right from the start. Any advice from someone thats been through this would be greatly appreciated.

Around 14k in damages when I went down. Knocked the rear end out enough that it had to be rebuilt. That was all I needed to walk away from my '16 and onto a '17. Put as many parts from the '16 on that were salvageable and insurance and working with my dealer covered the rest. Put on slip-ons, heavy breather and a tune and haven't looked back. It was a crappy month or so getting everything settled but that's how it goes I guess. Good luck!

Find out how much to buy it back. I purchased my bike back in 2004 for a few hundred. Might be worth selling off parts if it cannot be repaired.

Sorry to hear about your off hellbilly, but damn glad your doing ok. For an M8, I would recommend a adding only a stage 1 until the warranty is done. The stock m8 is a real joy. My first time using all HD SE parts and spending a ton of money with a stage 2 and wish I would've waited til the warranty was up to do it right with non epa aftermarket cam, tuner, etc...

Again... Recommend staying stock or get a stage 1 and enjoy!

If i can buy it back cheap thats probly what i will do. And part out what i can. Unfortunately a lot of parts cant be transfered to a new bike but i can maybe make a little money. Its not terrible but on the right side where the bottom crash bar bolts on it kinda looks a little bent but not to sure. Other then scrapes and stuff most damage is lookin to be in the front. The gaps on the saddlebags and fender look to be off but it may be a matter of taking that stuff off and resettin it on. And i heard the m8 responds well with a heavy breather and exhaust. Wasnt sure if i should get into doin a cam or not. I do know i dont really wanna crack open the motor to much at least not for a while

Keep in mind that with the new M8 bikes if you do much more than put oil and gas in it the MOCO will void your warranty. Only available warranty approved upgrades comes strictly from the MOCO only on the new scoots. That's enough by itself to make me not want one.
